Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your mobile number; profile details you enter (display name, birth year, gender, languages, topics, avatar); call history and coin transactions; and messages you send in the app. Listeners additionally provide a verification selfie, PAN details, a PAN card photo, and bank account or UPI details for payouts.

Phone number verification

You verify your mobile number with Truecaller, or with a one-time code we send by SMS through our provider StartMessaging (with Message Central as a backup), which receives only your number and the code for that purpose. If you use the Truecaller app, you confirm in Truecaller and we receive your verified number and your Truecaller first name. If you do not, Truecaller gives you a missed call; the app asks for phone and call log permissions only to detect and end that verification call. Meetin does not store or upload your call history or contacts. Truecaller's privacy policy applies to their part.

Calls

Voice and video calls connect directly between devices and are not recorded by Meetin.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank password. We keep the payment ID, amount and status to credit your coins and to handle refunds.

How we use your data

To run your account, connect calls, bill coins, pay listeners, prevent fraud, respond to support requests and keep the community safe.

Who can see it

Other users see only your display name, avatar, languages and topics. Verification selfies, PAN and bank details are visible only to you and authorised Meetin staff. We do not sell your data.

Storage and security

Data is stored with our cloud provider (Supabase) using encrypted connections and access rules so that each user can only read their own private data.

Delete your account

To delete your account and associated data, email meetinsupport27@gmail.com from any address with your Meetin ID or registered mobile number and the subject "Delete my account". We delete your profile, messages and verification documents within 30 days. Payment and payout records may be kept as long as the law requires.
